“During this change, you can’t make judgments. You can discern things, but you can’t make assumptions about anyone’s journey and why they are on their journey. You can only hold yourself readily accountable for every day that you live as the creator of your own life. No more fooling yourself!”
On December 18, I had the great joy to lead a singalong and do a channel at Lake Superior Interfaith Community Church in Duluth, Minnesota. Wouldn’t you know I got laryngitis.
I first arrived at LSICC in 1998 by way of a book signing for our first book, Diaries of the Psychic Sorority: Talking With the Angels. The girls and I scheduled an event at the Duluth Barnes and Noble, never suspecting anyone would come. Instead, 35 people from the church arrived, back when it was Spiritualist. They invited us over and I’ve been speaking and singing here ever since. I’ve recently agreed to be on the board!

Back to December 18: After Carolyn Sheets sent out a prayer to our ancestors, I began to channel. I felt a decided animated energy coming through. Though you can’t hear the question, it’s basically, “Who are you?”
As I heard them introduce the cohorts—Einstein and the Party, the Angels, all our relatives—quite unexpectedly to me a group appeared that had deep connection to the church, led by a very persuasive Reverend. When he identified himself, he broke down in tears, awed and joyful that he could, from Afterlife, stand at the front of the very church he loved and helped to build and now talk as one of the “dead people.” We all, on both sides of the veil, felt the profundity of that moment as the church’s ancestors did indeed appear.
After the service, as we enjoyed our meal together downstairs, I asked around about the origins of the church. Seems a group of spiritualists used to meet in each other’s homes in the 1950s and decided to organize and build a church. This “sturdy little church” is indeed that, and I am honored to be a part of it.
In 2023, we’ve decided to hold a regular Second Sunday Singalong and Share, where once a month I will lead the group in singing some mighty joyful and inspiring songs together, then I’ll channel and then we open for questions and conversation.
If you’re in the neighborhood, come on down. All are welcome.

In this episode on joy, we learned that one of our psychic sorority members found out her mother has cancer. I am still working on the conversation, but I wanted to release the channel because it’s so inspiring and shows us how we can have joy even in the worst of times.

Many of you know I am a big fan of the Jimmy Dore Show. Jimmy and his wife Stef are two comedians who take on the political news from an independent as well as comedic position: both sides are equally responsible for the mess we are in and we have to stop fighting each other, so let’s make fun of them all.
One day, Stef had a tarot-card reading comedian named Karen Rontowski on for a segment, a real departure from the usual stuff. I was so impressed with their conversation and after seeing her on again, I booked a reading with her.
It was such a great reading, I booked another! And in the process, Karen booked me on her podcast. We had such a great time, we made a date to do another show focusing on Einstein’s Maps of Human Consciousness and Unified Field Theory sometime next year.
Make a Joyful Noise
These days, the world often appears to be spinning out of control. Between everything happening on the global stage, to local conflicts spurred on by differing politics and religions, how can we find joy in this time of great transition and revelation?
Join me, the Party, and the Psychic Sorority as we explore ways to keep making a joyful noise, even in the midst of the worst conflicts.
Always free, all are welcome!

In this episode, among other things, Barbara shares insights from Rama’s Stars, Stones, and Stories podcast around the sacred portal that opened on 11:11. We are in a time of unification, and if we focus our attention on what we want to create, we can help move the New Earth into place.
The affirmation we received from hearing the same inspiration from others who are receiving the same divine inspiration was heartening. Looks like this will be a particularly potent week to use our intention to visualize and manifest unification, for ourselves and the planet.
What an exciting time to be alive!
